Holiday Rental short-term Apartments in Berlin

Booking one of our short-term apartments in Berlin is the best way to enjoy your holiday at your leisure. Berlin is the capital of Germany and perhaps one of the most historic cities in Europe. In fact, Berlin is the most populous city in the country, not only for indigenous people but thousands of people of other nationalities. Berlin is a cultural and artistic symbol recognized worldwide. Proof of this is the East Side Gallery, the part that is still preserves the Berlin Wall. It is the art gallery of the world's largest open air.

Berlin has a long story to tell and its buildings are proof of that. It used to separate the East Germany and West Germany. After the destruction of the wall, Berlin started to completely reconstruct again from the ashes. Its buildings are an example of this : the Berliner Dom, the Reichstag and the Palace of Charlottenburg, to give some examples.

The squares of Berlin also had to be rebuilt, but preserving the original design. A great example is Unter den Linden or the Gendarmenmarkt who tried to preserve the essence of its inception. Instead, the modern Potsdamer Platz is the symbol of modern Berlin. This city is host of the film festival Berlinale.

But without any doubt, if you want to know the history of Berlin and all its secrets, you can visit the Museum Island, with lots of antique collections of different civilizations. You cannot go to Berlin without visiting the Pergamum Altar, the reconstruction of the original altar. If you wish to know more contemporary history, you cannot miss the Checkpoint Charlie, the crossing of the two Germanies for over 20 years.

If you are brave enough, visit the Berlin Underworlds, where  you can see  various bunkers from World War II via guided tours. But Berlin is a city of monuments. The most famous symbols are the Brandenburg Gate, next to the Parisier Platz and one of the protagonists of the photographs is the television tower located in Alexanderplatz. One of the most visited and the most curious is the Holocaust Memorial, a tribute to the victims of Nazism and a representation of the pain they suffered.

Finally, do not forget to visit the green areas of Berlin. It has dozens of parks and in them there are many types of activities, but the most important one is the Tiergarten , perhaps one of the largest in Europe and the Mauerpark, where every Sunday Karaoke is held . In addition, every weekend all kinds of markets in different streets and in some of its parks are held. Berlin is one of the most influential cities in almost every way; it is not surprising that it has become a tourist attraction. Enjoy your stay!
